Our services include support groups for grandparents and other relative caregivers and their children. We also offer parenting classes at the jail and the state hospital, reunification services for prisoners and their families, school-based support groups and mentoring for children left behind. There are advocacy coalitions on topics related to the well-being of children left behind, trainings for professionals, a Speaker's Bureau, an annual Southen Summit Conference on children let behind, an advisory council of kinship caregivers, and a youth-left-behind leadership panel, called One Voice. We advocate for children in foster care and for relatives seeking to stay engaged with their relative's children lingering in foster care (Grandparents Left Behind). Please feel free to download our Handbook for Kinship Caregivers for more valuable information.
